Our Story

Rohrer Mowing Services has been serving the community since 2000. As a family owned and operated business, we emphasize quality and customer relationships in our lawn maintenance and landscaping services. We are based just outside of Quarryville and provide services to the surrounding area.

Mowing

Reliable lawn maintenance tailored to your needs. Service includes a professional mowing job, trimming around borders and beds, & blowing debris off walkways & decks.

Grass Seeding & Hydro Seeding

Soil prep for a smooth lawn, applying fertilizer to boost new growth, seeding top quality grass seed, mulching with straw for best success in germination, hydro seeding, & over seeding existing lawns.

Plant & Bed Installation

Trimming

Expert Shrub Trimming & Pruning Services

Hardscaping

Custom patios and retaining walls designed for durability. We also install steps, fire pits, landscape lighting & small water features.

Spring & Fall Cleanup

As an add-on to our mowing services we offer leaf removal from plant beds & lawns, cutting back perennials and annuals in the fall, & in early spring, picking up sticks and branches that have fallen on your lawn during the winter.

Mulching

We use quality black bark mulch that we spread by hand. Before mulching we redefine bed edges for a cleaner look.

Erosion Control

We seed grass for erosion control purposes such as waterways & retention ponds. After seeding we install straw netting for best seed & soil retention.

Snow Removal

We provide snow removal services during the winter for both businesses and homeowners. We offer ice melt application in addition to snow removal.

We plant bushes & perennials. We also install new beds including decorative stone beds & edging.
